Whatever the experience, it will be memorable

ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING THINGS I'VE DONE

Coaching with Nick has been enjoyable, revealing, surprising and always challenging. As the weeks have unfolded, it has led me to grow, physically and mentally, far beyond what I ever could have imagined, and I’m beginning to move away from my comfort zones. Nick's guidance throughout has been firm, helpful and clear, with no room for BS. His video tutorials and instructions are transparent, and it’s reassuring to be able to ask questions whenever they crop up. Coaching with Nick is honestly one of the most rewarding things I've done, and something I'd recommend if you're willing and ready to be challenged and grow.

HE IS THE GREATEST COACH I'VE EVER HAD

Every session is fun, funny, weird and playful. Seeing Nick inhabit his body in such a free way has inspired me to do the same and the result has been something I am really proud of. Nick's approach is therapeutic and disciplined. It is rooted in the brilliant developments of his mentors, and yet integrated into something that is very much his own thing. I’m stronger in ways that I could not have anticipated. My very concept of strength is forever altered and expanded. Nick is as focussed, professional and compassionate today as he was when we first began our work 8 years ago. He is the greatest coach I have ever had and more importantly, a friend for life. I trust him implicitly.

NICK IS HIGHLY LITERATE AND A REALLY GIFTED TEACHER

Over the past ten years I have been working with Nick. Patiently and methodically he has instilled in me a greater appreciation of my own physical capabilities and otherwise transformed a once fairly sedentary person into a more confident and active mover. What should be said, most importantly, is that Nick is highly literate and a really gifted teacher, an excellent communicator and he is unique in that he can (and will) demonstrate on his own body what he expects of you. As someone who tends to overthink things, Nick gave me the confidence to trust my own body, to live in it, and to enjoy it.  Always thoughtful, generous and encouraging, Nick is an exceptional teacher.

DEEPENING YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OF MOVING

Working with Nick is so much more than a physical experience. It's a social and even an emotional exploration. I leave with a deeper appreciation for movement in my life and a greater reverence for my body. I highly recommend learning from Nick not just for deepening your personal movement practice but deepening your personal experience of moving, even in stillness.

AN EXPERIENCE I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL FOR

I went on a limb signing up for the graceinmvmnt workshop. I didn’t know what to expect, but this gave me the flexibility to be open to receiving a new perspective. With Nick’s background in performance and movement and his ability to  translate movement into words, it made it easy to follow and explore. I had an experience that I will forever be grateful for; meeting new people from different parts of the world. Learning how to EXPRESS with Movement, is a tool I constantly use now! Thanks Nick!!

AS MUCH ABOUT SELF-DISCOVERY AS IT IS INSTRUCTION

Movement can be as intimidating as it is inspiring. And often we hunker down in that space wherein we can be as comfortable as possible. Nick has challenged my own sensibilities with movement - taking things not just from a single plane but intra-dimensionally; taking stasis and making it fluid - where movement can beget movement. There is an architecture to his teaching which is as must about self-discovery as it is instruction.
